I have been practicing yoga for the past 30 years and teaching for the past eight. It is my passion, along with spending time outdoors. Anytime the two can be combined it is the ultimate experience!
I went to yoga teacher training to learn, not to teach. During the final sessions of that life-altering experience, I needed to teach for certification. I asked my Dentist that I worked for at the time, and my Fellow Hygieneists, if they would attend my classes and they did. The opportunity to share the essence and the power of Yoga with friends and colleagues was both humbling and exhilirating. I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. Sentient Yoga was born that month.
There is truly nothing better than helping others feel better by sharing yoga with them. It is my true passion, my calling, my dharma.
